Loan Officer
Austin, TX (Hybrid)Full-TimeCommission + BaseLending Operations
Sellathon Consulting is looking for a motivated Loan Officer to join our growing team in Austin, TX. In this role you will work directly with pre-screened, qualified borrowers matched to your lending criteria — so you spend less time prospecting and more time closing.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and process loan applications from pre-screened borrowers provided by Sellathon
- Guide borrowers through the loan process from application to closing
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and supporting documentation
- Structure loan packages that meet both borrower needs and lender guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with borrowers throughout the process
- Meet monthly and quarterly loan origination targets
What We're Looking For
- Active NMLS license (or ability to obtain one within 90 days)
- 2+ years of experience in mortgage, commercial, or consumer lending
- Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines and loan products
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage a pipeline of multiple borrowers simultaneously
- Proficiency with loan origination software
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Austin, TX area
Nice to Have
- Experience with SBA loan products
- Existing book of business or referral network
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
